BTS Band is in news again!
For those who don’t know much about BTS, here is a short introduction. The famous band BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan, there are seven members in BTS. It’s a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. The seven BTS members are,

- Suga
- J-Hope
- RM
- Jimin
- V
- Jungkook
There are many world records that have been broken by BTS, below are some of these!
- The most viewed music video online in 24 hours by a K-pop group - "DNA" - 21 Million Views. A Guinness World record.
- Most viewed YouTube Music video in 24 hours - "IDOL" - 45 million views. A Guinness World record.
- BTS band is the fastest to reach one million followers in Tiktok.
- The highest number of Twitter followers for a Korean account - close to 19+ million followers.
Now the Band is again in News, but for some other reason.
All seven members of BTS band have announced that they will be joining South Korean Military services and will be back again in their music business by the year 2025.
Big Hit Entertainment announced recently that the group will be performing together in the year 2025 after they serve their country in their armed forces.
As per the South Korean Government rule, all able-bodied men have to serve 18 months in the south Korean armed forces. The exemptions are only given to athletes and some performing artists.
This is to the ongoing threat of North Korea.
A couple of months back, in the month of June, the band announced that they will be taking a long break, but no one was aware of the reason.
Since the reason is out, we will now see the BTS members in the south Korean military. Millions of fans will definitely miss the most lovable and cute band BTS!
