South Megastar Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s film Adipurush was released worldwide on 16th June 2023, there was a lot of hype and curiosity for this movie as this is one of the most expensive Bollywood movies.
The Movie is based on Hindu mythological drama “Ramayan“, where Prabhas plays Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon plays Sita (Janaki), Sunny Singh Plays Laxman and Devdatta Nage plays Lord Hanuman (Bajrang Bali).
Adipurush is a pure epic mythological action film, it is written and directed by Om Raut, who had earlier directed Ajay Devgan’s Tanaji.
Adipurush trailer was released a couple of days prior to the release date. The trailer received mixed reviews, some stated that the VFX was poor, and the trailer was literally trolled on social media like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, but then a new trailer was released which was far better than the previous one and got a lot of appreciation.

Though there were mixed reviews on the first-day show, some criticized the poor VFX, but some liked the visual effects, the picturization, and the screenplay. The first-day box office collection of Adipurush worldwide is close to 150 crores, where 100+ crore is from the Indian market and around 40 – 50 crore from the Overseas market.
Though the movie failed to Beat Pathan, it was successful in beating Brahmastra which was last year’s Blockbuster Bollywood movie.
Some of the scenes will give you goosebumps. The only drawback of the movie is the length, the movie is close to 3 hours and some of the scenes like the fight between Prabhas and Saif are a little dragged.
There are some scenes in the movie that you can relate to the Hollywood Movie Lord of the Rings, especially the last half an hour fight between Ravan’s Sena and Hanuman’s Sena.

As per the latest updates, Adipurush dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla stated that the makers of the Adipurush Movie have decided to revise some of the dialogues which has created a lot of controversy and protest.
Many viewers, and many political leaders from different parties have raised concerns on some of the dialogues which were used by the actors in the movie. Especially some dialogues which were of Lord Hanuman played by Devdatta Nage.
